Elderly man hit and killed by vehicle while crossing street in Bucks County, PA
An 84-year-old man tragically lost his life after being struck by a vehicle in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, on Friday evening. The Bensalem police responded to a report of a pedestrian being hit by a dark blue Porsche on Brownsville Road, near Oak Avenue, around 6 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered the man had sustained severe head injuries and had no signs of life. Medical teams confirmed his passing at the scene and identified him as Martin Thompson from Trevose in Bucks County. The driver of the Porsche stayed at the site of the incident. The police explained that Thompson was crossing the road when the Porsche, unable to see him due to another vehicle obstructing its view, collided with him. Authorities mentioned that there is no indication of the driver being under the influence, and speed was not a contributing factor.
