Elderly driver killed in crash with San Bruno building
A 78-year-old woman tragically passed away after her vehicle collided with a building on Wednesday morning, as reported by the San Bruno Police Department. The incident occurred at 10:40 a.m. on El Camino Real. Following the crash, the woman was rushed to a nearby hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries. Information regarding the building's occupancy or additional injuries was not provided by the police. The cause of the accident remains under investigation, with authorities stating that drugs or alcohol were not believed to be contributing factors. The North County Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) and SBPD's Traffic Division are working together on the investigation.
