Effingham Co. crash injures one, both drivers cited
A man from Charleston was hospitalized after an accident involving four juveniles in Effingham County. The incident occurred when a 16-year-old driver in a Ford failed to yield at an intersection and was hit by a 33-year-old driver in a Chevrolet. The Chevrolet driver was taken to the hospital with a minor injury, while the Ford driver and the three juvenile passengers were unharmed. The Ford driver received a ticket for failing to yield, while the Chevrolet driver received tickets for various violations.
