DWI charges filed after single-vehicle accident in Leyden
LEYDEN, N.Y. (WWTI) – Lewis County Sheriff's Office responded to a single motor vehicle accident on Friday evening that led to DWI charges. At approximately 11:31 p.m. on Friday, April 24, the sheriff's office responded to a single motor vehicle accident on East Rd in the Town of Leyden. According to police, the operator was identified as Brad K. Hoffman. He reportedly refused field sobriety tests at the scene. He was then transported to the Lewis County Public Safety building, where he was charged with a few class A misdemeanors, along with other vehicle and traffic violations: Hoffman was arraigned in the Town of Diana CAP Court and was released on his own recognizance. NYSP and Unlimited Towing assisted deputies.
