
DUI suspect in fatal crash identified in Tuolumne County, according to CHP
The California Highway Patrol reported that a tragic car accident occurred on Saturday morning in the Peppermint Creek area of Tuolumne County, resulting in the death of a 54-year-old female passenger. The driver, Jack Jensen, 61, of Sonora, lost control of his pickup truck while making a turn, veering off the road and hitting two trees before colliding with a wooden utility pole. Authorities determined that Jensen was driving under the influence of alcohol and he has been arrested and booked into the Tuolumne County jail on felony charges.
