Drunk man driving Telugu actor's car rams 6 vehicles in Chennai, 4 injured
National Award-winning actor Bobby Simha's car was involved in an accident after his driver, under the influence of alcohol, collided with six vehicles, injuring at least four, police said. The driver has been arrested for drunk-driving and over-speeding.The accident happened as the car was en route from Ekkaduthangal to the Chennai airport on Saturday. The actor was not present in the car at the time of the accident, police added.According to the Chennai Traffic Police, the accused, Pushparaj, was driving under the influence. While descending the Kathipara flyover towards Alandur Metro Station, he lost control due to over-speeding and ploughed into three motorcycles, two autorickshaws, and one car.Four people on motorcycles were injured and are currently receiving treatment at the hospital.The victims are undergoing treatment, said police.Published By: Sayan GangulyPublished On: Apr 19, 2025
