
Drivers involved in deadly head-on collision in Santa Ana
Two individuals lost their lives in a tragic high-speed collision in Santa Ana; one of them was driving the speeding BMW that caused the crash, according to authorities. The incident took place on Main Street near Warner Avenue just after 6:30 p.m. Eyewitnesses observed a sedan speeding in the wrong direction, leading to a head-on collision with a black Honda that was subsequently struck by a white Toyota SUV. The drivers of the BMW and the Honda, identified as Jorge Andres Delgado, 29, and Leticia Placencia Alvarado, 32, both from Santa Ana, tragically did not survive. Five individuals in the Toyota, including a 1-year-old child, suffered injuries, but thankfully, their injuries are not life-threatening. The driver of a fourth vehicle involved in the crash escaped without injury. The circumstances surrounding the collision, including the involvement of alcohol or drugs, are currently under investigation.
