Driver's charges escalated after second ejected passenger succumbs to injuries
A tragic incident last week resulted in a second fatality when a person who was ejected from a crash passed away. Following this, authorities have pressed charges against the driver responsible for the crash, charging Scott March, 63, with two counts of vehicular homicide. The charges are in connection to a deadly crash that occurred on November 1, during which March attempted to pass another driver in a no-passing zone, causing a collision. The crash took place in Volusia County, where the speed limit is 45 miles per hour. Unfortunately, the Ohio driver involved in the crash died at the scene, while the female passenger, who was critically injured, passed away on November 6. Police stated that the individuals in the other vehicle were not wearing seat belts during the crash. March, who was driving a 2026 Chevrolet Corvette, was also injured in the crash and is awaiting his toxicology report. The investigation into the incident is ongoing, and authorities have not released further details at this time.
