Driver with prior DUI convictions arrested in fatal multi-car collision
In a recent incident in Salt Lake City, a man has been arrested following a fatal 3-car crash. The driver, Colby William Bia, 24, was taken into custody on multiple charges, including automobile homicide, driving under the influence, and driving on a suspended license. Police believe Bia, who has a history of DUI convictions, ran a red light and crashed into another vehicle, resulting in the death of Ernesto Puga, 42. One juvenile passenger was injured but is expected to recover. The police found open containers of alcohol in Bia's car, and he exhibited signs of impairment at the scene. Bia was arrested on sight and has been held in custody at the Salt Lake County Metro Jail.
