Driver unhurt in solo vehicle accident in Warwick
A driver emerged with only minor injuries after their car crashed on Athol Road in Warwick on Wednesday afternoon. The Warwick Fire Department reported that Engine 2 responded to the scene where the vehicle had gone off the road. Despite significant damage to the car, the driver was conscious and aware, thanks in part to the effective safety features such as airbags and seat belt usage. The driver, whose name was not disclosed, received citations for a lane violation and texting while driving. Luckily, there were no road closures or involvement of other vehicles in the incident.
