Driver trapped after fiery crash into tree in Los Angeles, 3 hospitalized
An intense collision in Los Angeles' Beverly Grove area resulted in injuries to four individuals, with three requiring hospitalization, after their vehicle crashed into a tree and caught fire early Friday morning. The incident took place just before 2:30 a.m. on Crescent Heights Boulevard near Beverly Boulevard. Footage captured prior to the arrival of emergency responders showed a white BMW engulfed in flames as onlookers tried to assist those inside. A bystander swiftly used a fire extinguisher to extinguish the fire, while one person remained trapped until police arrived. Three occupants were later transported to a nearby hospital in stable condition, while a fourth received on-site treatment, according to a spokesperson from the Los Angeles Police Department.
