Driver to face charges for Brooklyn crash that resulted in death of mother and two children

A 32-year-old woman, Miriam Yarimi, is expected to face multiple charges in connection to a tragic car accident that occurred over the weekend on Ocean Parkway in Brooklyn, resulting in the deaths of a mother and her two children who were crossing the street. The arraignment of Yarimi is scheduled to take place virtually this Wednesday following the incident near Quentin Road in Gravesend. The crash involved Yarimi's Audi colliding with a rideshare vehicle carrying a mother and three children before striking another mother and three children who were pedestrians. Yarimi, a wigmaker by profession, reportedly had a suspended license and a history of numerous moving violations and outstanding fines. She also underwent a psychological evaluation at Bellevue Hospital after making concerning statements to first responders post-accident. The tragic incident, as described by NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch, occurred at an intersection on Ocean Parkway, resulting in the death of 34-year-old Natasha Saada and her two daughters. Yarimi's actions, including the possibility of running a red light and being under influence, are still under investigation by authorities. Source: Fox 5 NY/NY Post
