Driver of Shine Tom Chacko discloses reason for accident leading to death of actor's father - Hindustan Times
Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko was involved in a car accident in Salem on Friday while travelling with his family. Unfortunately, his father CP Chacko passed away in the accident and Shine was hospitalized. Shine's driver, Aneesh, shared details about the incident with Manorama News. Aneesh mentioned that Chacko was not wearing a seatbelt in the front passenger seat and passed away before they could reach the hospital. The accident occurred when a lorry abruptly changed lanes ahead of them, causing their car to collide with it. Shine sustained injuries to his right hand, which will require surgery, while his mother and brother suffered minor injuries. Shine's father's body is currently at Dharmapuri Government Medical College, where a postmortem revealed he suffered a fatal head injury. Shine and his family will be returning to Thrissur for the funeral. It's noted that Shine recently returned to work after facing legal issues and undergoing de-addiction treatment. He was on his way to Bengaluru for further treatment at the time of the accident.
