Driver killed in Posey County crash with semi is identified by authorities
The Posey County Coroner's Office has named 48-year-old Brent Cooper of Terre Haute as the driver who tragically lost his life in a collision on State Road 69 near I-64 on Monday. Cooper was driving south on SR 69 when he crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with a semi-truck. The semi-truck driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and the road was shut down for a few hours for emergency response.
