Driver killed in collision on Cypress Campground Road, authorities report
A driver tragically passed away in a car accident on Sunday afternoon in Berkeley County. According to Master Trooper Hannah Davidson of the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at approximately 1:23 p.m. on Cypress Campground Road. The driver of a Ford F-150 was traveling west when they veered off the right side of the road, over-corrected, went off the left side, and ultimately overturned. The driver, who has not been named publicly, succumbed to their injuries. Authorities are currently investigating the crash.
