Driver injured in Raynham rollover crash
RAYNHAM, Mass. (WPRI) -- A person was taken to the hospital after a rollover crash on Route 24 in Raynham late Sunday morning. Fire Chief Bryan LaCivita said just before noon they got multiple calls about a crash just north of Route 44 on Route 24 northbound. When crews got there, they found a heavily-damaged SUV in the woods next to the highway. It's believed the vehicle rolled over a few times, LaCivita said, and its engine compartment caught fire. Bystanders took the driver out of the vehicle, according to LaCivita. The driver is in stable condition. An investigation by Massachusetts State Police is underway.
