Driver injured after car collides with building in Knox County
A car crashed into a building in Knox County, Tennessee, with the driver in serious condition, according to Rural Metro Fire officials. Emergency responders were called to the scene on Washington Pike near Luttrell Road Sunday around 2:00 a.m. Upon arrival, crews found a vehicle had veered off the road and collided with a bonding company building. The driver, trapped in the heavily damaged car, was extricated by crews and transported to the hospital in serious condition. The building also sustained significant damage. Rural Metro advised everyone to exercise caution and reduce speed as the holiday weekend came to an end.
