Driver impairment suspected in fatal crash involving 3 cars and 15-year-old victim
According to a recent update from the Huntington Beach Police Department, a tragic three-car collision claimed the life of a teenage girl on Sunday evening near the intersection of Edinger Avenue and Beach Boulevard. The police reported that a driver, believed to be under the influence, was responsible for the crash which involved a Honda Accord, a Lexus RX, and a Lexus GS. The driver of the Accord, a 44-year-old woman, was seriously injured and taken to a nearby hospital. Sadly, one of the Accord's passengers, a 15-year-old girl from Westminster, passed away from her injuries, while another passenger is expected to recover. The other drivers involved suffered minor injuries. Police are seeking information and ask anyone with details to contact Traffic Investigator C. Houlston at 714-536-5559.
