Driver identified in deadly Brunswick County collision
Earlier today in Brunswick County, Virginia, a fatal crash involving a single vehicle took place, resulting in the tragic death of 21-year-old Jukwanta Demond Nicholson. The incident occurred on Old Bridge Rd, near Liberty Road, around 4:03 a.m. Virginia State Police reported that Nicholson, who was driving a 2008 Grand Marquis, veered off the road in the westbound lanes, colliding with several trees. The driver was declared deceased at the scene. Investigations by VSP indicated that the crash was likely caused by a combination of speeding and alcohol use, factors that contributed to the devastating outcome.
