Driver hurt in severe Burrillville collision
Authorities are investigating a car crash that occurred in Burrillville on Tuesday evening. The driver reportedly lost control of his pickup truck, hitting a utility pole and then rolling over into a front yard, damaging a storage container before crashing into a tree. It took multiple Jaws of Life tools to extricate the driver, who was airlifted to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. The cause of the accident is currently unknown.
