Driver hurt in Salina crash by colliding with tree

In the town of Salina, there was a car accident that caused one injury on September 20, 2025. At around 11:16 p.m., State Police were called to a personal injury motor vehicle accident on Cold Springs Road. The initial findings revealed that a 2013 Ford, driven by Mark Rubin, 56, of Baldwinsville, NY, was heading westbound on Cold Springs Road towards Long Branch Road when it veered across the double yellow line into the eastbound lane and collided head-on with a tree. Mr. Rubin sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
