Driver hurt in crash on Route 2 in Orange
A driver was taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash on Route 2 in Orange early Saturday morning. The Orange Fire Department responded to a report of a head-on collision around 3:29 a.m. Emergency crews found the vehicles far apart upon arrival, and Massachusetts State Police closed the highway due to debris. One driver was rescued using hydraulic tools and taken to Leominster Hospital for treatment, while the other driver declined further medical attention. The cause of the crash is currently unclear.
