Driver hits two people in Carlisle. One victim died, according to police

One person has died and another was injured after being struck by a vehicle in Cumberland County.The Carlisle Police Department says the crash occurred Friday night at the intersection of South Hanover and Pomfret streets.The driver of the vehicle has been arrested, according to police.Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash to call 717-243-5252 or submit a tip through Crimewatch.
