Driver held in custody following fatal collision with e-scooter
In Denver, a driver was taken into custody by the police on suspicion of impairment after allegedly colliding with a scooter rider who tragically passed away that same evening on East Colfax Avenue. The incident occurred between Washington and Clarkson streets near the Fillmore Auditorium at approximately 8 p.m. Responding officers found the woman scooter rider unconscious, and she later succumbed to her injuries at a nearby hospital, as per law enforcement. The driver, known as Kedrick Feldon, remained at the scene, with initial reports suggesting he was driving under the influence when the collision occurred. Feldon has since been detained and faces an investigation for vehicular homicide, according to the authorities.
