Driver from Breaux Bridge dies in deadly collision with school bus
Earlier this morning, authorities in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana responded to a tragic two-vehicle accident involving a school bus on Poche Bridge Road. The collision resulted in the death of Arthur St. Amant Joubert, a 38-year-old resident of Breaux Bridge who was driving one of the vehicles. Reports show that Joubert, heading north, crossed the center line and crashed head-on with a southbound school bus for reasons that are still unclear. Joubert sustained fatal injuries in the crash, while the occupants of the school bus were fortunately unharmed. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
