Driver fatally strikes 30-year-old Mahtomedi woman on Interstate 94 in western Wisconsin
A tragic incident occurred on Monday evening when a driver hit and killed a pedestrian, a woman from the Twin Cities area, on eastbound Interstate 94 near Black River Falls, as reported by the Wisconsin State Patrol. The victim, identified as 30-year-old Kara Meslow from Mahtomedi, Minnesota, was pronounced dead at the scene. The circumstances surrounding the incident are still being investigated. Black River Falls is situated approximately 50 miles southeast of Eau Claire.
