Driver facing charges in deadly DUI accident in Lexington has prior convictions
Linda Johnson, a cherished mother and grandmother, was known for her unwavering support for the University of Kentucky. Her husband of over fifty years, Jon, had passed away earlier in the year. On a tragic Sunday in August, Linda was involved in a fatal accident on Man o' War Boulevard in Lexington. The collision, caused by Stephen Barber who was believed to be under the influence of alcohol, led to Linda's passing after being taken to UK hospital. Barber has had previous DUI charges, and although this incident marked his third in ten years, it resulted in devastating consequences for Linda's family.
