Driver facing charges after causing three-car collision on I-71
Earlier this year, a disturbing incident on Interstate 71 in Columbus, Ohio was captured on video by the Ohio Department of Transportation. The footage showed a driver of a red vehicle abruptly stopping in the middle of the highway, causing a three-car collision. It has now been revealed that the driver responsible for this reckless action has been formally charged with operating a vehicle recklessly and showing a complete disregard for safety. The incident occurred on April 30 at around 5:30 p.m. near the I-670 exit. Following the collision, the red vehicle quickly drove away from the scene. ODOT emphasized the dangers of such behavior and the potential consequences it can have on both the individual driver and others on the road.
