Driver dies in hospital following Upstate collision, according to coroner
A tragic incident occurred on Riverford Road last Wednesday, as a 70-year-old man from Waterloo passed away after being involved in a crash. The Laurens County Coroner's Office announced that David Lee was airlifted to the hospital following the incident but sadly did not survive. Reports indicate that Lee was the sole occupant of the vehicle at the time of the accident. The circumstances leading to the crash have not been disclosed by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
