Driver charged with murder after causing deadly crash in police chase
A St. Louis County man is facing charges after allegedly causing a fatal crash in Wood River while fleeing from police. The incident occurred in July, and resulted in the deaths of a Wood River couple. The suspect, Miko D. Martin, was involved in a high-speed chase with authorities which tragically ended in a collision that claimed the lives of George "Randy" Julian and Donna M. Julia. The accused was arrested at the scene and is currently in custody facing multiple serious charges, including first-degree murder.
