Driver charged with fatal wrong-way crash in Ozaukee County; $2M bond assigned
A man accused of causing a fatal crash that killed a couple from Oostburg appeared in court in Ozaukee County on Tuesday, June 3 for his initial appearance. Ace Vue faces two charges of first-degree reckless homicide for driving the wrong way on I-43 at nearly 100 miles an hour resulting in the crash. Vue's defense requested a cash bond between $30,000 and $50,000, but the court set a $2 million cash bond with specific conditions as per the state's request. Vue is not allowed to consume alcohol or any intoxicants and is prohibited from driving a vehicle. Vue will be back in court for his preliminary hearing on June 12.
