
Driver blamed for deadly Milwaukee pursuit accident was free on bail
According to court records obtained by WISN 12 News, a 19-year-old individual, who is not named as charges are pending, was involved in a fatal crash in Milwaukee after fleeing from police. The incident occurred at 35th and Vliet Streets, where a white Dodge Journey, reportedly stolen from Elkhart, Indiana, crashed into a Mazda 6, resulting in the tragic deaths of three family members and injuries to others in both vehicles. The suspect was arrested prior to this incident for fleeing police in Elkhart. The Milwaukee police search warrant revealed the reckless driving behavior of the suspect, including speeding and disregarding traffic laws, culminating in the fatal collision. The police also found a gun in the suspect's vehicle. The 19-year-old was out on bond at the time of the crash, following the Elkhart incident.
