
Driver arrested for murder and DUI after fatal Union Ave crash
A 19-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a fatal crash that occurred last week in Bakersfield, California. The man, identified as Nathon Michael Ramirez, has been charged with potential murder and driving under the influence. The incident took place on Union Avenue when Ramirez, driving a white BMW, allegedly sped through a red light and collided with a Dodge Charger, resulting in the death of the Dodge's driver, Jason Munoz-Cruz. Munoz-Cruz, aged 27, was pronounced dead at Kern Medical following the crash. Ramirez is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday. Authorities state that Munoz-Cruz was not at fault and was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the incident.
