Driver arrested after suspected DUI crash kills pedestrian in Manhattan Beach
Law enforcement officials reported that a pedestrian lost their life after being hit in a collision believed to involve a driver under the influence in Manhattan Beach on Sunday morning. The tragic incident took place at approximately 12:46 a.m. on South Sepulveda Boulevard near the 100 block. Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim near the vehicle involved. Despite being rushed to a trauma center, the individual passed away. Subsequently, the police detained the driver, a 33-year-old resident from Los Angeles, on charges of suspected DUI and murder.
