
Driver arrested after suspected DUI causes fatal Sacramento crash.
A crash occurred in Sacramento earlier this month that resulted in three fatalities, after a suspected DUI driver, Christian Garcia, was involved in a fiery collision. The incident took place in the early hours of Aug. 2 at the intersection of Roseville Road and Connie Drive, involving a Ford F-150 and a Dodge Charger. Upon arriving at the scene, an officer discovered the Ford had rolled over and the Dodge was engulfed in flames. Tragically, two individuals inside the Dodge and one ejected individual were pronounced dead at the scene. Garcia, the driver of the Ford, displayed signs of intoxication and sustained injuries, which required hospital treatment. Subsequently, on Aug. 7, Garcia was arrested and booked into Sacramento County Jail on charges related to DUI resulting in severe injuries or death. The victims in the crash were identified as Mohammad Durrani, Omar Durrani, and Hashmatullah Durrani, all in their early to mid-20s.
