Driver arraigned for fatal September collision in Hamilton County

A man involved in a fatal crash in September while allegedly driving under the influence appeared in court in Hamilton County this week. Cheika Boydia, 40, was brought to Ohio from Loudoun County, Virginia, where he had been arrested. Boydia faced accusations related to the crash that led to the death of a woman on September 13th. He is charged with multiple counts including aggravated vehicular homicide and operating a vehicle while impaired. Boydia's bail was set at $75,000, with conditions prohibiting him from driving or drinking alcohol, along with wearing a monitoring device. His next court appearance is scheduled for next month.
