Driver airlifted to hospital following car crash in Charles City County
A driver suffered serious injuries when their vehicle overturned in a crash on Sunday night in Charles City County, Virginia. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. on July 6, prompting state troopers and Chesterfield County Sheriff's Office deputies to respond to the scene on Kimages Road. A spokesperson from Virginia State Police mentioned that a 2011 Hyundai sedan had veered off the road and flipped over. The driver was subsequently airlifted to VCU Medical Center for medical care. 8News learned from Sheriff Jayson Crawley that Virginia State Police would be managing the investigation of the accident.
