Driver admits fault in deadly pedestrian accident.
A man from Midlothian, Virginia, has pleaded guilty to a charge of involuntary manslaughter in connection to a fatal pedestrian accident that occurred in April. Quincy Ware, 31, entered his plea in Chesterfield Circuit Court on Wednesday just before his trial was set to begin. The incident occurred on April 26, 2024, when Ware's vehicle struck another car and then hit 31-year-old Katherine Anderson who was walking on the sidewalk. Anderson later died at the hospital, with speed cited as a contributing factor to the crash. Ware is awaiting sentencing scheduled for September.
