Driver accused in fatal Bolivar County collision
A tragic three-vehicle accident occurred in Bolivar County, leading to fatal consequences. The incident arose on July 30 at around 10:30 p.m. on Highway 8 near Cleveland. Reportedly, a 2018 Nissan Sentra rear-ended a 2013 Buick Lacrosse, which then collided with a 2013 Dodge Ram. The collision resulted in the death of Buick's driver, Torris Kinney, a 32-year-old resident of Cleveland. Hayley Cumins, the 26-year-old driver of the Nissan Sentra, was later arrested and charged with leaving the accident site following injury or death. Cumins is presently in custody at the Bolivar County Regional Correctional Facility in Cleveland. The Mississippi Highway Patrol is actively investigating this tragic incident.
