Driver accused in accident leading to death of woman and baby in Cache County
A man from Idaho has been accused of causing a car crash in Cache County that resulted in the tragic deaths of a woman and a 9-month-old infant in December. Nathaniel Stan Haudley-Resendiz, 21, is facing charges including manslaughter, producing a controlled substance, driving under the influence, and traffic offenses. The incident occurred when Haudley-Resendiz's vehicle collided with another car on state Route 91, claiming the lives of Heather Marshall, 39, and the baby. Details from court documents indicate that the infant was not properly secured in the car seat, and Haudley-Resendiz was driving with THC in his system and without a valid license. Additionally, drug paraphernalia was discovered in his vehicle.
