Downtown hit-and-run accident under IMPD investigation.
Officials from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department are asking for help in finding details following an incident where a man was struck by a vehicle that drove away in downtown Indianapolis. The event occurred at the intersection of W. Maryland St. and S. West St. at about 7:06 a.m. on Monday. Initially categorized as a hit-and-run causing serious bodily injury, the man was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.
