Dixon woman dies in fatal car crash
DIXON, Mo. — A woman has died following a car crash in Dixon on Tuesday morning. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened at 11 a.m. on Highway 28, three miles south of Dixon on April 22. The MSHP crash report says a 31-year-old Dixon woman was driving a 2000 Ford F150 when she tried to travel off the right side of the road. The woman tried to overcorrect the vehicle to return to the roadway and traveled to the left side of the road. During the turn to the left side, the vehicle was overturned and the woman was ejected. The woman was pronounced dead on the scene. The next of kin has been notified of her passing. This is MSHP Troop I's sixth fatality in 2025.
