Dispatch: 1 dead following motorcycle crash along Route 422 in Butler County

One person was killed following a crash involving a motorcycle in Butler County Saturday morning. Butler County dispatch confirmed to Pittsburgh's Action News 4 that first responders were called to the scene on Route 422 near just after 11 a.m. following reports of a crash. Officials said at least one person was killed, and a medical helicopter was called off. Dispatch officials said they believe only one vehicle and motorcycle were involved in the crash. It is unclear if anyone else was injured. PA State Trooper Cazy posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, saying "SR. 422 westbound is shut down at the Mitchell Hill exit in Butler County due to a fatal crash." The post came in just after noon.Westbound Route 422 remained closed as of 1:36 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
