Des Moines police seek help in fatal hit-and-run crash

DES MOINES, Iowa -- Police are asking for the public's help to identify someone who may have information about a deadly Des Moines hit-and-run investigation. The Des Moines Police Department has released photos of an individual they believe was operating a truck in the area of a hit-and-run incident that resulted in the death of 46-year-old Eric Andrews last month. Police said information from witnesses indicates Andrews was hit by at least two separate vehicles in the 900 block of Hull Avenue around 11:30 p.m. on February 22nd. Neither vehicle stopped. Lifesaving efforts, including CPR, were performed on Andrews at the scene but he was pronounced dead. Police are now hoping the public can assist in finding a person who may have information that can assist in the investigation.
