Deputy Collector Killed in Fatal Crash in Annamayya District
A tragic road accident took place in Annamayya district, Andhra Pradesh when two cars collided near Yerraguntla in the Sambepalli mandal. Special Deputy Collector Rama from HNS Peeleru Unit-2 lost her life in the accident, while four others were seriously injured and admitted to the hospital for treatment. Special Deputy Collector Rama's body was taken for postmortem examination, following the incident that occurred as she was returning from a public grievances meeting at the Rayachoti Collectorate. District Collector Sridhar visited the hospital to offer consolation to the injured individuals. Authorities have initiated an investigation into the incident and a case has been registered by the police.
