Deputies: Serious injury in Gaines Twp. dirt bike crash
A dirt bike rider was seriously hurt on Thursday morning after crashing at 68th Street SE and E. Paris Avenue SE in Gaines Township, according to deputies. The Kent County Sheriff's Office reported that the rider ignored a red light and collided with a cement truck. The bike was not approved for street use. The intersection was closed following the incident, and drivers were advised to use alternative routes.
