Deputies ID person killed in Brooks Rd crash

(WROC) – Deputies on Tuesday identified the person killed in Monday night's crash on Brooks Road in Henrietta. 67-year-old Delano Altidor of Chili was killed in the crash, and three others were hospitalized with serious injuries Monday, according to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office. Deputies were called to the crash scene, which involved three vehicles, around 3 p.m. Monday. At least one unidentified woman and two young children from one of the vehicles were taken to the hospital with serious injuries, according to a preliminary report from deputies on the scene. As of Tuesday afternoon, the three remain hospitalized in critical condition, deputies told News 8. Five people in total were involved across the three vehicles, according to deputies, who told News 8 one of the drivers was left uninjured. The investigation into what caused the crash continues. Traffic was blocked on Brooks Road between East River Road and West Henrietta Road for several hours. The area reopened to traffic shortly before 7 p.m. Monday. This is a developing story.
