Denver's Colorado Blvd. open again after collision below Colfax Ave.
Colorado Boulevard in Denver was temporarily shut down on Friday due to a serious crash resulting in significant injuries. The road has since been reopened. The closed section was in the southbound direction, located just south of Colfax Avenue, between 9th Avenue and 11th Avenue. According to a Denver Police Department spokesperson speaking to FOX31, the crash was reported at 3:27 p.m. involving two vehicles, with one of them believed to be speeding and colliding with a semi-truck. One individual was transported to the hospital with an undisclosed condition. Authorities recommended drivers to seek alternative routes due to the closure.
