Demolition derby driver at Isanti Co. Fair dies in crash
The Isanti County community is in mourning after a tragic incident at the recent Grandstand event led to the passing of demolition derby driver Josh Wines. Wines sustained critical injuries during the "Night of Destruction" derby at the Isanti County Fair. A prayer vigil was held at the Grandstand to honor his memory, and the fair organizers canceled the "Night of Chaos" autocross racing event scheduled for Saturday. Wines, who had recently tied the knot and was set to embark on a honeymoon with his wife, bravely fought in the hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his severe injuries.
