Death of motorcyclist in SUV collision
A man died in a fiery crash involving a motorcycle and SUV in Shenango Twp., Pa. The incident occurred close to 6 p.m. on Monday at the junction of Hubbard Middlesex Road and Seig Hill Road. Upon arrival at the scene by Fire Chief Justin Barnes at 5:53, both the motorcycle and SUV were ablaze. The motorcyclist was transported to UMPC Farrell, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries. A passenger in the SUV was also hospitalized for treatment. This marks the third significant motorcycle accident in Shenango Township in the past month. Fire Chief Barnes urges increased caution and vigilance regarding motorcycles. The area was shut down as multiple agencies collaborated to clear the scene, reopening shortly before 10 p.m.
